Navigating the Schedule Tab

The Schedule tab displays all appointments for your practice. This article will highlight a few of the features of this portion of your Vision(X) site.

Home vs Schedule Tab

Vision(X) users are first shown the Home tab whenever they log in. This tab includes some appointment related information, including a quick-view list of Today's Patients and some broader appointment metric insights for your site. In order to view the Schedule tab directly, click the Schedule beneath the Home tab on the vertical menu on the left-hand side of your screen.

Schedule Tab Views

The Schedule tab appears based on each user's selection of View Types. Click the "eye" icon to select from different view types. List view displays all scheduled appointments within selected date parameters:

Timeline view displays scheduled appointments for the selected day as parallel timelines for each provider at your practice location:

Calendar view displays your practice location's hours of operation for the selected day, with each provider's scheduled appointments listed side-by-side vertically:

Weekly View

Information Columns & Layout

Users have the ability to include specific information columns visible/hidden by default. Click the "gear" icon to view information column options, select the boxes of information fields that you want to see, and use the arrows to arrange the order in which they will appear in your Schedule tab:

Information Fields & Patient Filters

Users can narrow the amount of information presented on the Schedule tab by relevance and patient specification. Click the "toggles" icon to view additional options for which information fields will appear in each column. Use the "Filter By Patient" field to view only appointments for the selected patient:

Appointment Details and Check In

Click the box next to any scheduled appointment to open the appointment details/check-in menu on the right-hand side of the screen. From here, the appointment can be initiated for check-in, canceled, or rescheduled as needed:
