This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a new appointment directly from the Schedule tab.
Schedule Tab
The Schedule tab displays appointments based on the user's filter and view settings. To add a new appointment, click the " + " (add new) button and select "Appointment":

NOTE: This menu is timed in order to accommodate your other appointment booking streams (such as online bookings.) Be sure to complete this task in the time allotted, or else you will need to start over.
The appointment builder window will now open. Using the menus provided, enter information for required fields (marked by the blue asterisk). Time slot options that fit your selected date and time parameters are visible to the right. When finished editing required fields, click "Next":
Select a Patient
The Patient Lookup menu will now appear. Use the provided fields to select any patient in your practice's site, or click "Add New Patient" to create a new profile as part of the process of creating and saving this appointment:
Review Patient Details
Once a patient has been selected, review all relevant fields to ensure that basic demographics, contact information, and insurance plans are all up-to-date. Make any changes as necessary, then click "Next" when finished:

Review all appointment details. Should any field need to be edited, click "Back" to return to the previous screen, or click "Cancel" to close this menu and return to the Patient's profile with no appointment saved. Otherwise, click "Schedule Appointment" to confirm all details:
The Appointment is Now Saved!
You will receive a message confirming that the appointment has been saved.
The appointment is now visible in the Schedule tab. Select the box next to any appointment for relevant information:
The appointment can is also visible on the Patient's profile in the "Appointments" box, where you will also find options to add attachments, view notes on the appointment record, or add another appointment booking:
