Lensometry is the process of measuring a patient's pair of existing prescription eyeglasses. This tutorial will demonstrate how to docuemnt lensometry in a patient exam in Vision(X).
Lensometry Menu
Begin the exam, then select the Lensometry category to open the documentation fields. If this field was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:
Enter values into the corresponding fields. Values may be entered manually for each field, and selecting a field may open a slider menu for easy selection of value. Additional buttons exist to quickly mark "OD=OS" (to duplicate values for both eyes) and "20/20 All". All fields can be quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button
Documenting Additional Lenses
To add another pair of lenses to this exam, click "+Add New" to select from the drop-down menu of additional type options:
The a new set of documentation fields will appear for the new lenses. Use the toggle to switch between views for each set as needed:
