Subjective refraction assesses a patient's experience of their own vision through comparison of two or more phoropter lenses. This tutorial will demonstrate how to document subjective refraction in a patient exam in Vision(X).
Subjective Refraction Menu
Begin the exam, then select the Subjective Refraction category to open the documentation fields. If any refraction testing was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:

Select a usage value from the drop-down menu on the right hand side of the screen, then enterr values into all fields as applicable. All fields can be set to "20/20 All" or quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button:
