How do I Setup Uprise to Scan Documents into the Patient Record?
Before you can begin scanning directly into a Patient's Record through the Documents tab, you will need to download and install the Kofax WebCapture Installer. This is a one time process.
ALSO, your scanner must support a Twain driver. This driver must be installed before the one time setup takes place. Not all scanners have a Twain driver. Please research this before you begin the setup process.
1. Click Documents on the left sidebar of the Patients tab.
2. Click Setup Scanning
3. The installer will download and be accessible in the lower left corner of your Chrome Browser > Double Click the Kofax .WebCapture.Installer.ini to begin installation
If the Kofax .WebCapture.Installer.ini does not download you can use the link found in the message box.
4. The Kofax Web Capture Service will install. After installation, you will need to refresh the browser.
5. Navigate back to the Patient and Documents tab. The Kofax service will have located your scanner and you can now begin scanning.
