How do I Add a Patient's Own Frame to an Rx Order?
With patient's own frames there are two possibilities. You can either look up the frame in the Frames Data based catalog if it is a fairly recent frame or you can enter a manual description if the frame is older or from an unusual source.
1. If the patient's frame is fairly recent, ensure Lookup Frame is selected and follow the steps below.
1.1. Enter the Manufacturer, Brand and Model
1.2. If necessary, enter the Color and Size
2. If the patient's frame has been discontinued, click Manual Description and follow the steps below.
2.1. Fill out as much of the information as you have about this frame, but know that none of the fields are required.
3. If necessary, enter the frame measurements.
